Influencer: How Aleali May Took Street Fashion Digital

Aleali May is an image consultant, model, and fashion blogger. While studying at Columbia College Chicago in 2010, she began her career in fashion working for Louis Vuitton and RSVP Gallery.  Aleali enjoys the opportunity to create with others and since then, she's collaborated with many world renowned brands such as Audi USA, Nike, and Adidas. is a self-titled blog which serves as a creative outlet to share her experiences in fashion, travel, and  entertainment.

One of the most original girls taking street fashion digital, her unique sense of style has garnered not only the attention of the Internet but also the street. If this all sounds a bit confusing, it shouldn’t. The youth have always found new ways to express themselves and Aleali is no exception. From the front rows of fashion shows to the style guides on her namesake, this new breed of creative is riding some giant waves. Aleali started just taking photos of her style and putting them on Tumblr and thats how she built her brand into what it is now. She always authentic and stays fresh in whatever she wears. She used a social media platform and built her own brand from the ground up all why staying true to herself.

Along with flexing on the ‘gram, Aleali takes on personal styling for events, artist tours and closet makeovers (you may or may not have seen her raid Julz’s closet for some Spring cleaning).  Her portfolio includes styling for Kendrick Lamar on tour with Kanye West, Wiz Khalfia’s “KK” video featuring Project Pat and Juicy J, and Crooks & Castle’s 2015 look book. Aleali has created a new outlook for a career in fashion for my generation. She did her own thing and made it into something.  A true Influencer.
